The workshop fee is $45 for members, payable by cash, check or credit card.
Set-up begins at 9:00 AM and the workshop will begin at 9:30 (see address below).
Bring your own lunch or go out. We will end about 3:00 PM.
You may bring a seat cushion, but no personal irons please.
Please wear your name badge if you're a Guild member.

Playing with Fabric, Four Patch Stack and Whack

Our March presenter is none other than our very own Sharon Sutton!
Sharon started sewing at the tender young age of five. She didn’t start quilting until
after she retired from her career with Orange County Superior Court in 2004. She also joined
the Guild in 2004. Her favorite type of quilt is one made from scraps. She is a reader and
loved the Boxcar Children and their goal to “make something out of nothing.” She loves color, as is evidenced in her quilts.

How Far Can a Jelly Roll Go?"

Have you bought some packages of 2 ½” wide strips because the fabrics are so beautiful, and coordinate so well – but they remain unused because you don’t know what to make with them? Or have you seen a package of richly colored batik strips or a fun thirties jelly roll, and wanted to get it, but you’ve been hesitant because you don’t know how to use it? In this class, we will start with a package of 2½” strips and add coordinating fabrics to make a table runner, tote bag, notebook cover and zippered document bag. You will finish some in class and leave with instructions for finishing the others. You will be amazed at how far your jelly can roll!
